Viewing and Exporting Submissions
Browse, filter, search, and export form submission data from Protuno.
The Form Submissions screen lets you browse every submission captured by your Protuno managed forms, filter by form key or read status, view individual submission details, and export records to CSV.
Opening Form Submissions
Go to Protuno → Form Submissions in your WordPress dashboard.
Tabs
At the top of the page, three tabs let you quickly filter submissions by read status:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every submission regardless of whether it has been read |
| Unread | Submissions you have not opened yet |
| Read | Submissions you have already viewed |
Each tab shows a count in brackets, for example All (12) or Unread (3). A count of 0 means no submissions match that status yet.
Filters
Below the tabs, three dropdowns let you narrow the submissions list:
All Forms
Filter by a specific form on your site. The dropdown lists every form that has received at least one submission. Select a form name to show only submissions from that form.
All Pages
Filter by the page the form appeared on. Useful if you have the same form on multiple pages and want to see submissions from one specific page only.
All Time
Filter by date range. Options include preset ranges, such as today, this week, or this month, to quickly scope the list to a time period.
After selecting your filters, click Apply to update the list.
Searching submissions
Use the Search submissions box on the right side of the filter bar to search across all submission data. Type a name, email address, or any value a user submitted to instantly filter the list.
Search works in combination with the dropdown filters, you can filter by form and then search within those results.
The submissions table
The submissions table has the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| ID | A unique number for each submission. Sortable, click the arrows to sort ascending or descending. |
| Form Name | The name of the form that was submitted. |
| Page | The page on your site where the form was submitted from. |
| The email address entered by the user in the form. | |
| Status | Shows whether the submission is Unread or Read. |
| Submitted At | The date and time of the submission. Sortable, click the arrows to sort by newest or oldest. |
| Actions | Options to view or delete the submission. |
When no submissions match the current filters or search, the table shows: "No submissions found."
Viewing a submission
Click the Actions option on any row to open the full submission detail. You will see every field and value the user submitted, the timestamp, the source page, and the form name.
Opening a submission automatically changes its status from Unread to Read.
Exporting submissions
- Apply any filters or search to scope what you want to export.
- Click Export CSV in the top right corner of the page.
- A CSV file downloads to your computer containing all submissions matching the current view.
Only submissions visible in the current filtered view are exported. To export everything, make sure all filters are set to their defaults, All Forms, All Pages, All Time, and the search box is empty before clicking Export CSV.
Deleting submissions
Use the Actions column on any row to delete a single submission. To delete multiple submissions at once, check the checkbox on the left side of each row you want to remove, then use the bulk action option.
Deleted submissions cannot be recovered. If you may need the data later, click Export CSV to save a backup before deleting.
