Settings
Configure how Protuno behaves on your site.
The Settings page (Protuno → Settings) is where you configure AI provider connections for the in-editor chat, enable the MCP integration, and adjust other plugin-wide behaviors. Changes here affect every Proton widget and every user on the site.
Opening Settings
Go to Protuno → Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
The page subtitle reads: "Configure how Protuno behaves on your site."
General
Core Protuno features.
All settings on this page are toggles. Click the toggle to turn a setting on or off, then click Save Changes at the bottom right to apply.
Enable Proton widget
Register the Proton widget inside your page builder.
Turns the Proton widget on or off inside Elementor. When enabled, the Proton widget appears in your Elementor widget panel and can be added to any page or template.
Turn this off only if you want to temporarily disable Proton without uninstalling the plugin.

Enable MCP server
Expose the built-in Model Context Protocol server so AI clients can build with Protuno.
When enabled, Protuno runs a built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that allows external AI clients, such as Claude, Cursor, or other MCP-compatible tools, to connect and build with Protuno directly.
Turn this off if you are not using any AI client integrations and want to reduce the plugin's footprint.

Store form submissions
Save Atom form entries to the database so they appear under Form Submissions.
When enabled, every submission from a form built with the Proton widget is saved to your WordPress database and visible under Protuno → Form Submissions.
Turn this off if you do not need to store submission data (for example, if you are only sending submissions to an email address and do not want database entries).

Show editor on the front end
Let logged-in editors open the Protuno editor directly on the live page. When off, the front-end editor never loads.
When enabled, users with editor-level access (or higher) will see an option to edit Proton sections directly on the live front end of the site without going through the WordPress dashboard.
Turn this off to force all editing through the WordPress admin only.
Default: On
Delete all data on uninstall
Remove Protuno options and stored submissions when the plugin is deleted.
When enabled, all Protuno data, settings, templates, and stored form submissions, is permanently deleted from your database when you delete the plugin from Plugins → Installed Plugins.
Leave this off if you may reinstall Protuno later and want to keep your data.
This action cannot be undone. If you enable this setting and then delete the plugin, all your Protuno data is gone permanently. Export any form submissions you need before deleting.
Default: Off
Save Changes
Click Save Changes in the bottom right to apply any setting changes.
